Kaylee Bayer, psychotherapist at Repose
I hope clients will find safety and freedom to explore themselves in their work with me!

Welcome

Kaylee Bayer is a psychotherapist and Clinical Team Lead at Repose. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and sees clients in person at the Pleasantville office and online. Kaylee most enjoys working with children and families, and with young adults.

Kaylee shapes therapy around the person in the room. She draws on several evidence-based approaches and adjusts them to fit the client, rather than asking the client to fit the method. Working with her is meant to feel supportive and collaborative, with room to explore at your own pace. She keeps the focus on what matters most to each client.

People often come to Kaylee for support with anxiety, OCD, and the experience of being neurodivergent. She also works with executive functioning and school challenges, adoption, and the adjustment to college. Kaylee supports clients through major life transitions, too.

Above all, Kaylee hopes clients feel grounded and supported with each and every session.

Her approach

Kaylee's approach

Kaylee draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also uses Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an approach commonly used with OCD. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is part of her work as well.
