Katelyn Moon, psychotherapist at Repose
I entered this field with a deep desire to support individuals who are struggling and seeking greater clarity in their lives. I understand, both personally and professionally, how mental health can influence every aspect of our well-being. I want them to know they don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.

Working together

How Katelyn can support you

People often come to Katelyn for support with addiction, anxiety, or concerns in their relationship as a couple. She also works with depression and trauma. Parenting, burnout, and life transitions are part of her work too.

Katelyn offers a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment. Together, you work toward deeper self-understanding. You look at patterns that may be affecting your well-being. You also develop realistic, practical tools to use in daily life. Her hope is that clients leave with more insight, confidence, and strategies that support meaningful change.

Her approach

Katelyn's approach

As a marriage and family therapist, Katelyn works through a systemic lens. She draws on systemic family therapy and Bowen Family Systems Therapy, which look at how patterns take shape within families and relationships over time.

She also uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and solution-focused therapy round out her work. Whatever the tool, Katelyn keeps the broader context of your life in view.
