Kaitie Ebersol, psychotherapist at Repose
During the darkest moments of my own life, therapy served as a tool that helped me to overcome mental health struggles and to love and accept myself. I consider it a privilege to support others as they find this same kind of healing.

Welcome

Kaitie Ebersol is a psychotherapist at Repose. She sees clients at our Union Square office and online. Kaitie enjoys working with people who have a trauma background and hope to process and integrate painful experiences. She also connects with clients who are curious about their own growth, and with those drawn to existential or spiritual questions about building a more fulfilling life.

Sessions with Kaitie are meant to feel nonjudgmental and free of shame. She builds trust through acceptance, attunement, and collaboration. In that space, you can explore even the most vulnerable parts of yourself.

Working together

How Kaitie can support you

People often come to Kaitie for support with anxiety, depression, and trauma, including PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). She also works with life transitions, relationship concerns, and self-esteem. Clients who want to bring religion or spirituality into therapy are welcome to do so.

Together, you and Kaitie may look at how early family dynamics, past relationships, trauma, and unconscious beliefs shape what you face now. She also offers practical tools to help you reconnect with your emotions and your body. Her hope is that you can meet life's challenges with greater resilience.

Her approach

Kaitie's approach

Kaitie draws on CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which looks at how thoughts, feelings, and actions connect. She also uses MI (Motivational Interviewing), a collaborative way of exploring what you want to change and why. Psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-based therapy help her understand how early relationships may shape the present.

Somatic strategies and mindfulness bring the body into the work. Kaitie's background in yoga and meditation informs this side of her practice. She combines these body-based tools with cognitive ones, so understanding and felt experience can grow together.

Why Kaitie

Why work with Kaitie

Kaitie brings a background in yoga, meditation, and energy work to her clinical practice. An interest in Eastern philosophy also shapes how she thinks about the mind and body.

She describes herself as curious, compassionate, spiritual, and highly intuitive. Clients who want room for spirituality in therapy may find that space with her.

Kaitie bridges the gap between the intellect and the emotions and body. She pairs cognitive tools like CBT with somatic strategies, so insight and body awareness can work side by side.
